march 2026

Celebrating Freedom, Culture, and Hope.

For Ghana, March is a truly exceptional time. It is a month when our hearts beat faster, filled with pride in our history, our culture, and the vision of the future we are creating together.
We recently celebrated our 69th Independence Anniversary. This is a celebration not just of the past, but above all, of the resilience and spirit of a nation that continuously inspires Africa and the world. We honor the courage of those who fought for freedom, and those who embody Kwame Nkrumah’s vision every single day—a vision of a united, empowered, and independent Africa. May the dream of unity, progress, and dignity for all Africans continue to guide our path.
In the spirit of these celebrations, we are also marking "Ghana Month," which holds a very special meaning at the Janusz Korczak Day Care Center this year. For us, this is more than just celebrating tradition; it is a living lesson in history, belonging, and pride. We believe that to build a strong future, we must first nurture the foundations. That is why, through cooking traditional meals together, learning dances, storytelling, and playing games, we teach our children to respect their roots. We want every child at the Janusz Korczak Day Care Center to joyfully discover their heritage. Raising children who know where they come from is the key to raising a generation that knows exactly where it is going. May the spirit of Ghana, our culture, and the values we pass on to the youngest generation be the driving force behind all our future endeavors.

Happy Independence Day, Ghana!
