One step further

We are extremely pleased to share another piece of good news. Our programme for teenage girls has been given a new location. For the past month, the Sisterhood Club has also been meeting at a small Anglican primary school in Kwakrom.
One of our foundation's goals is to reach remote places in Ghana with education, and this is further evidence that step by step we are succeeding. So now, in addition to the regular meetings in Duaga, once a month we meet with a group of 30 girls in Kwakrom. The last meeting was extraordinary. We talked about collaboration and the support we give each other as women. We also talked about emotions and it was remarkable to see the girls open up when talking about what support they would need as teenagers. We had a special guest between us, Felicia Opoku Mensah, who is the queen and authority in Duaga village. She shared her years of experience and the strength of women that has helped her achieve her goals over the years. Of course, there was also a lot of fun.
By supporting us you are giving wings to our girls.
